Waste text alerts
Extreme weather, such as snow and ice, can cause disruption to your bin collections. You can get up-to-date information about changes to your collection service sent straight to your mobile phone. We will also send you information about our recycling events throughout the year.
How to sign up
To sign up to the alerts, send a text message to 60777 stating: "DBC WASTE / your house number / your postcode"
For example: DBC WASTE 80 HP4 2DR
Your initial text will be charged at your standard network rate (it may be charged outside your inclusive text package). You will not be charged to receive the alerts.
How to unsubscribe
To unsubscribe from the waste text alerts, text DBC WASTE STOP to 60777. Your text will be charged at your standard network rate.
Please note: If you wish to unsubscribe from weekly bin collection reminders, you'll need to log in to your MyDacorum account. Then under "My Services" you will need to click on the "Reminders" section. Deselect the email/text (SMS) boxes as applicable.
