Events on council land and open spaces

Anyone looking to organise an event or carry out commercial activities on Council-owned land will need to seek permission in advance.

Organisers are required to complete an application form and a Dacorum Safety Advisory form and to provide supporting documentation, including and not limited to insurance details, any necessary licences/certificate, site plan and risk assessments.

All events will need to notify Dacorum Safety Advisory group to ensure the correct measures are in place for application. We therefore ask for a minimum of six weeks’ notice for smaller events and 12 weeks for new and larger-scale events to ensure there is time for your application to be processed.
