Splash park
Gadebridge Splash Park is now closed for the season. It will reopen in spring 2025.

Splash park rules
So everyone can enjoy the splash park, please familiarise yourself with the splash park rules:
- Please watch your children at all times. Your child’s safety is your responsibility
- All children under the age of 10 must have adult supervision
- Babies and toddlers must wear swim nappies
- Please do not jump from the steps
- Do not take food or drink on to the splash pad
- Unruly behaviour and foul language will not be tolerated
- You are advised to wear aqua shoes in this area
- No smoking or vaping
- No alcohol
- No glass
- No running
- No bicycles, scooters, skateboards or skates
- No pets
Play area
Gadebridge Park has a large interactive play area suitable for a wide age range. It boasts a host of features, including climbing frames, slides, swings and balance beams, and can be found next to the splash park. The play area also has inclusive equipment, with wheelchair access to the sand pit.
The Walled Garden
The Walled Garden is a great place to take time out and admire the spectacular flower displays.
The usual open hours are:
- April to October, 8am to 7pm
- November to March, 8am to 2.30pm

Outdoor fitness centre
The park has an outdoor gym featuring a range of fitness equipment, including exercise bikes, cross trainers and weights. The gym was installed by Henkel using recycled aerosol cans.
Skate park
Located by the car park off the Leighton Buzzard Road, the skate park is equipped with five quarter pipes, a jump box, volcano, half pyramid, grind box, midi ramp and a grind rail.

Cycle paths and walks
Cycle paths run along the main drive from Queensway (Bury Lodge entrance) to Piccotts End Road and through to the Leighton Buzzard Road underpass.
Walks
The Countryside Management Service (CMS) has devised a 5km (three-mile) walk through Gadebridge Park, up the Nickey Line to Howe Grove Wood and back. For more information, visit the Countryside Management Service website.
Boot camps and commercial fitness trainers
At present, we haven't authorised any personal trainers or boot camps to use Council land for commercial training classes. Those that do so are using the land without consent.
