We have garages available to rent throughout the borough. If you wish to rent a garage, please click on the link below to register. We prioritise applications according to your date of registration.
Ending your garage tenancy

Charges
Standard rate
From 1 April 2024 - 31 March 2025 the weekly rent for a standard garage is:

Higher rate
We now charge a higher rate for 'premium' garages in the 10 areas where we have the highest demand:
- Allandale
- Anchor Lane
- Beech Drive
- Chaucer Close
- Douglas Gardens
- Eight Acres
- Figtree Hill
- Hammer Lane
- Hilltop Road
- Spring Lane.
From 1 April 2024 - 31 March 2025 the weekly rent for these 'premium' garages is:

All other applicants | £18.24 (includes £3.04 VAT) |
Please note: Direct Debit rent calculations will be charged over 49 weeks instead of 48 for the 12 months in 2024-2025.
If you are a Dacorum Borough Council tenant or leaseholder and rent more than two garages, VAT will be payable on any further rentals.
Payments
You must make payment by Direct Debit. Council tenants have the option to link their garage rent to their house account. Please note: We will reject your application if you have tenancy arrears with us. You must clear the arrears first.
