Call for potential development sites
Call for sites 2017
We're inviting the public, developers and landowners to submit details to us of sites in Dacorum that they consider to be suitable for development over the next 20 years for potential inclusion in our new Local Plan. Site suggestions are invited for a range of developments.
We are interested in sites that are at least 0.3 hectares in area, or which could accommodate 10 or more homes or have a floorspace of at least 500 square metres.
Please let us know about your site(s) by completing the Call for Sites 2017 submission form (PDF 88KB).
We have prepared some Guidance notes 2017 (PDF) and Frequently asked questions (PDF 184KB) to help you fill in the form.
We would also like to know if you have any suggested changes or additions to a range of designations shown on the Local Plan Proposals Map.
The call for sites runs from Wednesday 1 November until midnight on Wednesday 13 December 2017.
The process is being run at the same time as the Brownfield Land Register call for sites (see below). This will be your opportunity to promote smaller sites that fall below the above thresholds.

Brownfield Land Register
In parallel with the Local Plan, we're also collecting information on potential development sites within the borough to inform our Brownfield Land Register.
Do you know of any brownfield sites (or previously developed land or buildings) in Dacorum that could be developed or redeveloped, and which might help us identify housing-led development sites. This could include an element of non-residential uses such as retail, office space or community uses.
We're particularly interested in sites of at least 0.25 hectares, or which could accommodate five or more dwellings.
If you know of any sites, either available for development now or likely to become so in the future, and which could be included in our five-year and 15-year land supply, please let us know by completing the Brownfield Land Register - site submission form (PDF 389KB).
