Future development

We are aiming to build many more new homes in Dacorum by 2025.  We are currently looking at a range of opportunities across the borough where these homes can be built.

The proposed development at St Margarets Way in Leverstock Green, Hemel Hempstead, consists of approximately 48 homes made up of a mix of two-storey terraced houses and a three-storey apartment building, all for social rent. This site has been designed to meet the extremely high demands for social housing in the local area, and also address our climate change emergency agenda.

We have appointed Stephen Taylor Architects to develop these design proposals and we are now consulting on these designs, prior to the next important step of submitting a formal planning application in the summer.

Unfortunately, due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, we are unable hold a public exhibition. However, to ensure that you have the opportunity to review the design and leave your comments safely, please click the link below to view the online consultation video, complete the consultation survey and leave your comments. The consultation will close on Sunday 20 June 2021.
