Report an animal welfare concern
If you are concerned about an animal's welfare, please report it to us by emailing animalwelfare@dacorum.gov.uk
When reporting concerns, please provide as much information as possible. Ensure you include:

- Registration number and description of any vehicle involved.
What happens next
Where someone is identified we will aim to investigate and speak to that person. We will provide advice, assistance and support to people who need guidance on responsible pet ownership. If appropriate, we will take enforcement action.
Concerns about dogs kept outside
It's not illegal to keep a dog outside. However, the owner/keeper must ensure that the dog’s needs are still met in line with best practice. For more information about keeping dogs outside, visit the RSPCA website.
Concerns about injured wild animals
If you're concerned about an injured animal that requires immediate attention, and it is outside of our normal working hours, please contact the RSPCA or Tiggywinkles for advice.
