• What sort of feedback do you want on the proposals?

  Please tell us what you do and don’t like about any of the proposals. Let us know how you think they could be improved as well as any other comments you have about the routes.

• What is the deadline for giving feedback?

  You have until midnight on Sunday 13 September 2024 to submit your views, comments, suggestions or concerns through the stakeholder feedback platform.

• Why have some of the routes been revised since the February 2024 consultation?

  The first LCWIP consultation identified areas where improvements were needed for cycling and walking. Views were sought from stakeholders and the public on these routes and all feedback was carefully considered.

  In response to this feedback, we amended the cycling and walking networks. We audited much of the primary network, including visiting the routes, to assess how they could be improved.

• How will you make sure that future schemes are inclusive to all users?

  Scheme designers will follow the latest guidelines and best practices. Equality Impact Assessments will be used to understand how the schemes might affect different people. Where possible, they will seek input from local users early in the process.

• Will I get another chance to give my views?

  Yes. Following stakeholder feedback, the network plans and proposed infrastructure improvements will be reviewed. There will then be a public consultation in early 2025.
