Old Town Project consultation

We're seeking your views on the future of Hemel Old Town. This is a thriving and historic part of Hemel Hempstead, and the Old Town Place project aims to support the ambitions of businesses and communities in the area, and create a better place where the local community can thrive and feel pride.

We're exploring new opportunities to improve our places. We have an important leadership role to play in co-ordinating efforts and activities to improve Hemel Hempstead as a place, but we cannot do this alone.

As part of this programme, we're keen to hear from you on what makes the Old Town a successful and thriving place to live, visit and work.

Cllr Alan Anderson, Portfolio Holder for Planning and Infrastructure, said: "The Old Town is one of the jewels in the crown of many important places in Hemel Hempstead. Although it benefited from a package of improvements a few years ago, we recognise there is more to do to build on its great strengths. To help shape its future, your views are really important and I would encourage people to take just a few minutes to complete our online survey."

How to take part in the consultation

Find out more and complete the survey on the Hemel Old Town Project consultation page, hosted by Commonplace.

The deadline for completing the survey is 11.59pm on Wednesday 8 June 2022.
