Adventure playgrounds get a sporty makeover

Our adventure playgrounds in Adeyfield and Grovehill have had a refurbishment with new multi-play equipment and sporting areas.

The Hemel Hempstead playgrounds have inclusive multi-play structures include climbing walls, a sand pit, water play and double tubular slides - ready for reopening when COVID-19 restrictions allow.

There are also new floodlit 3G artificial turf pitches and a multi-play basketball area for footballing and sporting needs, which are available to hire from Monday 29 March in line with Step 1 of the COVID-19 roadmap allowing outdoor sports and leisure to take place.

The new facilities have been implemented with play and fitness in mind, to help challenge users physically and psychologically and to keep everyone in the community active.

Find more information about the playgrounds or enquire about hiring the pitches on our adventure playgrounds page.
