Local Plan consultation - next steps

Our consultation on the Emerging Strategy for Growth stage of the Local Plan closed on Sunday 28 February.

We have received a high number of responses to the consultation, which are currently being collated. All comments will be considered and will help inform the next stage of the Local Plan. Further public consultation will be carried out before the final version of the Draft Local Plan is submitted to the Government's Planning Inspectorate.

Cllr Andrew Williams, Leader of Dacorum Borough Council, said: "We are delighted with the response we have received to this consultation. I would like to thank everyone that has taken the time to have their say. All feedback will be taken into account as we move on to the next stage of the Local Plan."

Further information about the Local Plan is available on our New Dacorum Local Plan (to 2038) page.
