Tour of Britain launches in Hemel Hempstead with Family Fun Day

Children taking part in a race at Dacorum Cycle Hub

We'll be gearing up for the Tour of Britain cycle race in Hemel Hempstead at our launch event on Tuesday 8 August.

To celebrate the Tour coming to the borough, Dacorum Cycle Hub, which is based at Grovehill and Woodhall Farm Adventure Playground, will be hosting a free cycle-themed Family Fun Day. Kids aged six to 16 will be able to bring their bikes along to take part in Go Ride races. Don’t worry if you have a little one aged under six, as there will be also be a free bouncy castle to keep them entertained.

The Cycle Hub café will be open for thirsty parents in need of a cup of tea and a slice of cake, or you can bring a picnic and a blanket with you.

Bikeability courses are also being run on the day at an extra cost. To book a bikeability course, please visit Watford Cycle Hub website.
