Next Step: CAD Careers Advice

 

The Next Step service delivered by Community Action Dacorum offers careers and skills advice to fit your individual needs.  The service is independent, impartial and funded by central government via the Skills Funding Agency.  

Next Step can help you:

  • apply for jobs, write CVs or prepare for interviews
  • review your career and job options
  • make a new start
  • find full or part time courses at all levels
  • contact other sources of help
  • search for jobs

Help with job search

Next Step see people by appointment for advice and guidance on searching for new employment, whether unemployed or threatened with redundancy.

Next Step can also put you in touch with other organisations offering specialist support, voluntary work or training.

SIGN UP TO PASSPORT TO GO – a package of help based upon your needs, a way forward through new experiences, learning and training opportunities.  Several organisations have joined together with support from Dacorum Borough Council  to offer a pick and mix of services including support with writing CV’s and job applications, funding for specific training to enhance your job prospects and one day work tasters.  For more information click here.
