Careers and job search advice
The national Next Step programme
The Next Step programme offers free, friendly careers advice to people aged 20 and over. The local face to face service is provided by Community Action Dacorum. The service is confidential and impartial and it offers a range of information and advice to help you improve your skills, get new qualifications and find the right job.
Contact the Next Step team for help with:
applying for jobs, writing a CV or preparing for an interview;
reviewing your career and job options;
making a new start;
finding full or part time courses at all levels; or
searching for jobs
The team is located at Community Action Dacorum, 48 High Street, Hemel Hempstead, HP3 0HJ but clients and potential learners are seen by appointment in various locations across the Borough.
Workshops on aspects of job search such as interview skills and CV writing are run throughout the year.
For more information or to make an appointment, go to Community Action Dacorum’s website or phone the Next Step team on 01442 267772.
