Accessibility exceptions
Pre-filled form fields
Checkpoint
10.4 of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0 recommends that until user agents (such as
browsers or screen readers) are capable of recognising text
fields that do not contain default text, text fields in forms should be pre-filled with text.
We have been advised by Nomensa, who advise us on the
accessibility of our site, that this is no longer a
necessity. Therefore we do not always include them.
Access keys
In accordance with Checkpoint 9.5 of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0, access keys are present on our site.
