Mayor's Garden Party 2024
Join us on Sunday 12 May (11am to 3pm) at Sunnyside Rural Trust's Hemel Food Garden, HP3 9BY, for a community gathering. The Mayor's Garden Party promises to be a vibrant celebration for the whole borough.
Entry to the event is free, so gather your friends, family, and neighbours for a day of community fun and festivities.
What's on
Carnival stalls
Explore a variety of fun-filled carnival stalls offering games, prizes, and surprises for everyone to enjoy. These will be manned and supported by local charitable organisations.

Cake competition
Are you a baking enthusiast? Show off your skills in our cake competition. Bring your tastiest coffee and walnut cake for a chance to be crowned the winner by the Mayor of Dacorum and receive a prize.
It costs £3 per cake to enter, with all proceeds going to the Mayor's charity. To be in with a chance of winning, please sign up.
Food and drink
Sunnyside Rural Trust will have its café doors open and its pizza oven on the go for anyone looking for something to tuck into. Drinks will also be available.
