Taxi and Private Hire Licensing Policy consultation

Our taxi and private hire licensing policy sets out our approach to regulating taxi and private hire services in the borough. Our primary concern is public safety and, through this policy, we aim to both reduce potential risks associated with taxi and private hire services and provide transparency and consistency for anyone with an interest.

Our existing guidelines and standards are contained in a variety of documents (available on the relevant pages of our website). This draft policy brings all the information together in one place, as well as updating our approach as a result of changes to national guidance and cases:

Have your say

We're keen to hear your views on the changes. Comments on the draft policy should be emailed to licensingpolicy@dacorum.gov.uk no later than midnight on 9 December 2020.
