Street Food Heroes
Street Food Heroes will be taking over St Mary's Close car park every third Thursday of the month between April and September. More details can be found on their Facebook page.
Held on the first Sunday of each month (except January, February, March), the Old Town market features locally produced baked goods, hot food, craft items, preserves, artisan gifts, cards, paintings, jewellery, and much more.
Run as a not-for-profit enterprise by a team of local business owners, the purpose of the market is to provide a place for local producers to showcase their products and give customers the opportunity to shop locally in our historic Old Town High Street.
The market is located in St Mary's Square, under the arches at the Old Town Hall and in the grounds of St Mary's Church.
There's disabled access and toilet facilities available. Many of the small businesses in the High Street are also open on market day, including local pubs and coffee shops, giving a huge choice of goods for sale and places to eat and drink.
