What is External Funding?

External Funding is money that has been awarded by an organisation like the National Lottery, UK Government department or a charitable trust. Generally, external funding is awarded for specific projects, programmes, initiatives or developments.

Raising money through external funding is on the increase for voluntary, community, public and the private sector. As a result, the bidding process is often competitive and funding applications have to demonstrate that the project meets a specific need and the funder’s criteria.

How can we help?

We provide a monthly newsletter to keep you up to date with current funding opportunities.
