Memorial Safety

The Council’s cemetery service is carrying out a programme of safety testing the stability of headstones and memorials in their four cemeteries:

• Heath Lane, Hemel Hempstead
• Kingshill, Berkhamsted
• Tring Cemetery, Tring
• Woodwells, Hemel Hempstead

This is following advice from the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), as a number of accidents, some fatal, have occurred across the country.
