Dacorum offers a wide selection of shops and town centre attractions with its town centres of Hemel Hempstead, Old Town Hemel Hempstead, Berkhamsted and Tring.

Hemel Hempstead has many modern high street stores and two shopping centres Marlowes Shopping Centre and Riverside which includes a Debenhams department store. The high street refered to as the Old Town contains many antique and speciality shops.

Each of the separate neighbourhood centres of Hemel Hempstead has its shopping centre or parade of local shops for the convenience of local residents.

The Jarman Park leisure campus has a large supermarket and there are three separate edge-of-town retail parks at Apsley including a supermarket and a number of electrical, hardware and furnishing outlets.

Berkhamsted and Tring both have a very varied mix of shops and boutiques with some unusual retailers as well as high street shops and supermarkets.

Bovingdon and Kings Langley, as larger villages (3000+ population), may surprise and please as places to shop with a range of shops one might not expect in a village location.

Rural Dacorum - and there is plenty of it - has a number of garden centres.

Farmers Markets are held every month on a Friday in Tring.

French Markets and Farmers Markets are also held in Berkhamsted. The Farmers Market is held on the third Sunday of each month from 10am to 2pm.
