Our application forms follow the national
'1App' principles, which came into effect on 6th April 2008. This
means that you will be asked exactly the same questions by us
as by any other Local Authority across the country.

and accompanying information required in BOTH of
the checklists below.
Applications which do not have all of
the information required in the checklists will be
invalid and returned to you.

Types

may advise that you submit separate applications.
Householder Application
For any development within the curtilage of a
dwelling. Please ensure that you have sent all the information in
support of your proposal under the relevant National and Local
Householder Validation Checklists. See links to right.

Full
Planning Application
For changes of use and/or development not
related to the extension or alteration of a dwelling
house/additions within its curtilage. Please ensure that you
have sent all the information in support of your proposal under
the relevant National and Local Full Application Validation
Checklists. See links to right.

Conditions
Please note that the discharge of conditions on
planning approvals are subject to a fee of £85 for
non-householder developments, and £25 for householder developments.
The fee applies to each request made.

Minor
(non-material) Amendments
Application for minor (non-material) amendments
to existing permissions. There is currently no fee required. Please
note that material amendments (in the opinion of the Head of
Development Management) will continue to be dealt with through
the normal planning application
procedure.
