2010: A Space Oddity is a brand new physical comedy that takes us into the world of science fiction, cult movies and spoof. This is every space movie you've ever seen in an hour and a bit!

Two men are trapped in a kitchen in a HAL of their own devising and together they rage against the machine that rules their existence. Arthur C Clark is nowhere on the horizon... and in space, no-one can eat ice cream!

Join two men, in one kitchen, with every clich under the sun.

THE PLOT:-

Two spacemen arriving at Jupiter to investigate signals from a 'monolith' discover the remains of 'The Pegasus' - the previous spaceship sent on the same mission. It is deserted, and once on board, seemingly getting hotter and hotter. Their own ship - 'The Persephone' - explodes when TIMI, the on-board computer suffers from apparent heatstroke and self-destructs!

Stranded on the derelict craft, they are suddenly beamed up to an alien ship from the planet Vegan! These aliens are intending to destroy mankind and inhabit Earth themselves, once it is sufficiently hot enough for their silicon-based bodies!

Our two heroes must break out of prison, stop the Vegans, and save Earth!

After an on-board battle, they return to The Pegasus only to discover earth is still getting hotter! One of them must pilot the alien ship into Jupiter itself to stop the Vegans' dastardly plan - but who will go and who will return to Earth!?
